Also known as Mains Water – this water is managed and treated by your local water authority such as Water Corporation and is sourced from groundwater (39%), rain water (15%) and more recently from Kwinana and Binningup desalination (43%) and Groundwater Replenishment projects (3%).

Is scheme water safe?
Regardless of what you hear from other water filter companies, Perth’s water is among the best in the world and is completely safe to drink. Are there chemicals and contaminants present in our water? Definitely, however they are at low enough concentrations not to pose a risk to your health.
Still concerned, jump to the Department of Water and Environmental Regulation site HERE for more info or give us a call.

What is bore water?
Bore Water is water sourced from aquifers below ground. Bore water can be used for irrigation, livestock, aquaculture and domestic applications. There are over 190,000 garden bores across the Perth-Peel Metro area using over 82,000,000,000 L per annum (or 82 GL). Groundwater is generally not recommended for drinking water unless treated and tested as per the Department of Health’s Guideline. Talk to us about a water filter system for bore water.

Why should I filter safe water?
Personal preference, self assurity or peace of mind that filtered water is perfectly safe for your family and pets. Seriously though, there are many good reasons to filter, including from removing chlorine smell and taste from your water, so reducing the concentrations of heavy metals in your supply. But many of our customers, make both environmental and financial decisions to move from bottled water to filtered tap water.
The general return on investment in water filtration systems is between 1 and 3 years.
