Calcite Filters
These filters are designed to neutralise acidic water which can result in plumbing corrosion sometimes indicated by blue staining, a metallic taste and plumbing leaks. These filters are used on water such as rainwater, bore water and also used to raise the pH of some aquaculture supplies.
Sand Filters
These filters are used to remove sediment from water which can result in colour, staining and clogging of plumbing. These filters are used on dam, bore water and can also have some applications for scheme water supplies.
Carbon Filters
These filters are used to remove colour, odour and taste from water which can result in staining and poor aesthetic quality, they will also reduce a wide range chemicals such as heavy metals and pesticides. These filters are used on dam water, bore water and rainwater they also have applications with scheme water for chlorine and contaminate removal.
Iron & Manganese Filters
These filters are used to remove iron and manganese from water which can result in staining and poor aesthetic quality. These filters are mainly used on ground water sources such as bore water and soak water to prevent staining and clogging of plumbing.
